>important things become memorable if they simply remain as they happened<
How many times in your life are we actually surprised by the things that happen around us? How many times you thought, while reading an interesting book or watching a sad movie that the very next scene will be the one that you expect?
When things start to have a pattern around yourself, and you got used to how they’re working, you’re shocked when something unexpected happens. You’re worried, you try to guess what the others think, you make plans of how to behave, but what you actually must know is that the self-regulatory feature of our existence will work it out this time too.
Some people and situations are interestingly predictable, while others are shockingly unpredictable. As for the latter ones, you should never go too far in being surprised, because there is for sure a similar “next time” when you will know how to react.
When the seasons change, people think about changing their shoes, their clothes, or everything that does not fit to the new weather. Once in a year some of them think about a change of style. And then begins the search for new ones.
Looking for shoes is a complicated task. Although you do it for yourself and you know what you want, it takes a while until you find the right shop, the right price and the style you want; then you get bored, and decide to go home. It’s a sort of conformation to the idea that the shoes you want are hard to be found.
At home, on a hidden shelf, there’s the good old shoe that you find whenever you look for something new. And you realize that the mistake you make each season is the fact that the image of the perfect shoes you have in your mind might be too rigid. And you get back to your work, cause’ if you lose yourself in looking for the right pair, you might forget about the more many important things that exist around yourself.
